Python dirty drive upgrade?

I was just wondering if anyone has upgraded their Python if it really make a difference with the new Npcs or since they all have engineer buff will you still be as sluggish just on same lvl pre 2.1?

In beta I cracked over 415m/s if I recall correctly and the handling was superb. Dirty drives for python (particularly a rank 5 upgrade) gives you a huge speed and handling buff. It's exceptional. If you can get a good boost (125%) and a decent optimal mass outcome, it's very very good. :)

I wouldn't bother trying to min max outside of rank 5 (or rank 3 if that's the maximum possible, regardless of rank unlock progression). It's a waste of time as the increments are so low as to be virtually irrelevant. Also if your first roll is good, bank it. You can always try again and see if you can gain a better outcome. But if you get a better result than you have, it's always always better to accept it, than trying to get a better outcome and ending up with nothing.
