Python Mk2 integrity oddity.

Don't know what's happening here but I can't fully repair my Python Mk2.
Integrity has slowly been dropping, if I can't fix it I suppose it will fall apart eventually.
Possibly a bug or is it an 'undocumented feature'.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah - it's known - give it a bump:
I believe you can still repair integrity, but you need to click the "repair all structural elements" option - you can't only repair the integrity (weirdly - it only seems to be a problem with the pre-built Pythons - if you buy a second one from a station after you have it unlocked, it doesn't seem to be affected by this bug)

Yeah just checked, that worked for mine.

Nice one, thanks, I shall try that out (y)

How does the integrity affect the ship? I have had integrity at 0% but didn't notice a difference. Does the ship take more damage or something?

Fly it straight into the nearest star, then deal with the rebuy for whatever modules you've added (or replace them with cheap modules first).
It's for science :)

I recall that at 0% integrity you don't take more damage per se but resistances to non-absolute damage types are reduced.

Of course, I might remember wrong—the mechanic is obscure and not really officially explained anywhere so a lot of hearsay and misunderstandings float around.

The bought Python is worth 0 Credits in the Game. Repair Costs for Integrity are based of how much a ship is worth currently. (Or so it seems)

Game will not let you repair for 0 Credits

Seems almost reasonable except that it is probably the base cost not current value of the build as I can’t do an integrity but having changed a module the ship is not 0 credits to rebuy.

I can confirm a workaround for this bug, albeit an inconvenient one. I returned from a CZ with no damage but at 99% integrity and the game wouldn’t let me fix it. So, I just flew my ship into the nearest carrier bulkhead until I scratched the hull, re-docked, and then went back to the advanced repair options screen. Selecting Repair All fixed both the hull and the integrity.
