Python paint job at 0%

I was making a signature graphic for a friend and needed the paint job to be 0% so I did the Hutton run, naturally.

FYI Hutton run will not get your paint job to 0% if you start with 100%. You'll get around 25%, at least in my case. There is not much difference on the paint job until it drops below 30%, then you'll begin to notice the decay much more. Also, I didn't know you can repaint the ship and maintain 0% effect. That's good to know.

Yellow paint is very good for this so I thought I should share the images, the result is a bit different from what I've seen on the forum before. For future reference, this was done in 2.2.02 patch. Anyway, you'll be the judge:

This looks great.
I always wonder, if I "repair all" and "repair hull" which one is repairing paint, because I'd like the paint to remain beaten up.

Holy no antialiasing batman!

Very cool though, it's always been instinctual to just hit repair on everything... does look cool worn like that. I actually think that the paintjob should be indicative of the age of the ship rather than something that deteriorates that quickly. The colour should also wash out IMO

I always did like the way worn paint looked vs new.

I actually think that the paintjob should be indicative of the age of the ship rather than something that deteriorates that quickly.

If paint jobs were indicative of ship age, all Conda's would look like this. :D

Metallics seem to hold up . . .

So far, the "metallic" skins seem to hold up really well, I can hardly ever see any damage at all in my gold or chrome ships:

I eagerly await the arrival of the Chromaconda and Chro-vette!
