I'm going to list a few things I feel would be wonderful updates/expansions and quality of life additions and tools <3
That being said though, amazing game so far everyone! You took a well loved concept and blew it out of the park, with dedicated revivalism and a new twist for 2019. That's incredibly difficult to do and even more difficult to do WELL. I hope your team is proud; You've made a labor of love and it shows. Thank you! <3
-An option to turn off the day and night cycle: It's difficult for some people to see at night, even changing brightness settings and using the flashlight.
-Color Blindness settings to change the heat-map colors manually from the settings: Right now it's very ableist. My boyfriend couldn't complete the toxic waste career challenge, because his color blindness is so bad, he couldn't delineate variations in red coloring from the heat-map. If you could put manual settings in the game for this please. I know others suffer from this as well. <3
-A "dropper" tool that lets you easily copy items, BUT for repetitive placement: This is really helpful for laying down trees and other plants. The copy tool currently is nice, but not for repetitive use. More shortcut keys are also extremely appreciated <3
-A search menu in the animal catalog: For quick access to see animal information, when building exhibits. The scroll bar is a needed utility, but if you expand the animal catalog at some point it'll be tedious to scroll every time, instead of having a search function.
-A tab, in the exhibit menu, to pull up a list of animals in each exhibit: It's an easier way to look at animals specifically in the exhibit you're clicking on, instead of having to filter through the larger Zoo menu, to animals.
-More animal colors and variance: White tigers, black wolves, albino variance.
-More character customization: I'd like more faces and more face customization specifically, but also hair, clothes, etc.
-An animal menu that lets you outright buy animals: No market trading, points trading, or waiting involved- just full access to all the animals, with customizable genetics settings, so you can play around with inheritance, etc.
-Integration of Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster: This is a long shot, but if you can build roller coasters alongside zoo exhibits, we'd have some real Bush Gardens vibes going on lol jk
It would blow people's minds to have a game like that. You could be the first.
-More Arctic, Taiga and Temperate animals: More animals in general too lol I'm sure this is the plan though.
You have SO MANY expansions you could make, it's exciting, but right now you predominantly have African, South American/Central American and Asian animals of the Grassland and Tropical biomes. I'd love to see more animals in the other biomes and specifically North American animals:

Arctic Foxes,
Silver Foxes,
Elk,
Reindeer,
Caribou,
Polar Bears,
Arctic Wolves,
Mexican Wolves,
Red Wolves,
Coyotes,
Cougars/Pumas/Mountain Lions,
Bobcats,
Lynx,
Big Horn Sheep,
Mountain Goats,
Bats or a Bat House,
Beavers,
Wolverines,
Ferrets,
Pikas,
Fennec Fox,
Porcupine,
Skunks,
Raccoons,
Opossums,
Martens,
Moose,
Penguins,
Sea Lions,
Musk ox,
Eagles, Owls, Herons, or an aviary with several bird types.
Maybe create a "Holiday Expansion" with Arctic animals like Polar Bears, Penguins and Reindeer to start? <3
There are ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES! You've created something quite amazing, in an artistic, environmentally conscious and business sense. It's both fun for players and lucrative to your business to expand content. I really hope we can look forward to that. <3

-An aquatic life expansion (Sharks, Whales, Jellyfish, Squids, deep sea creatures and fish tanks- you name it <3)
-Mythical creatures (Unicorns, dragons, etc.)

I hope when we finally create a video game museum, (it'll happen someday, I'm sure,) that chronicles the art of our time in video games, they attest to your hard work as developers. The original Zoo Tycoon and your game are both groundbreaking marks of achievement in video game history. Know that and be proud. It's a multi-generational success.
