Same problem here - everything works except for trade tab, giving out empty search results. Latest QAA versions are kinda small in size comparing to previous ones. Maybe I should additionally download some files and place them in proper folders? Would really appreciate a piece of advice.

I got the answer on Reddit. "1wk" for both "info age newer than", make sure there is no space. No idea why it is defaulted to "4 wk" if that actually breaks the program. To be honest I ended up using Slopey's instead because I started using it in lew of this not working and got used to it. They're very similar anyway.
FYI, if you updated to use Steam from the standalone launcher your AppConfig.xml location has changed. This drove me nuts because my directory and AppConfig.xml looked proper not realizing it had actually changed. I spent an hour trying to figure this out before I searched for a new location. Registered an account to hopefully save someone else some time. Cheers

When I look at the log, it has a ton of lines that are along the lines of:
Saved .json but ignoring data from EDDN user xxxxx
Where the user name is clearly their actual Elite name, which means they're probably using the EDDN market connector. Basically any name that doesn't start E0 gets ignored.
Including when I myself use the market connector! Is there any way to fix this?
EDIT: Ah, never mind. Took advantage of the fact that it's open source to see what was causing it to reject all the data from market connector, and took the liberty of compiling my own version without that limitation.

For a long while the only screen-scraping tool that worked worth a damn was EliteOCR so I eventually ignored all data that wasn't from EliteOCR by filtering on the name.

In the past your excellent tool, thread has been added to EDCodex. Before EDCodex was released on the 17th of August you have received in the period 5th - 10th of August a PM with an invitation and a special link. After registering and logging in you would automatically become owner of your entry. According to the admin tool(s) you haven't used the special link (yet). Perhaps you have missed the PM or have been (temporarily) away from ED. Its also possible you choose not to claim your entry. Note: Its also possible to assign another commander editing rights for your entry. In either case please send us a PM. You can find your EDCodex entry here.
Alternative way to get ownership
The special link will cease to function in the (near) future, for security reasons. Should you after that point want to become owner of your entry you can use the "Claim ownership" button. In that case please send biobob or myself a PM with the email addressed you used for registration - for verification. You can also use this procedure if you no longer have the PM.

Its a website with a database of currently approx 215+ tools,threads,websites,videos for ED. Any one can and is encouraged to add entries there. EDCodex is and should be community-driven. EDCodex companion thread. Its equally suited for PC's, tablets and smartphones and has RSS feeds.
