That's what happened when he flew too close to the sun as well.

My 83ly conda is currently surveying HIP stars for the Glorious HIP Project.. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/glorious-hips-3306.549030/An extreme jump range conda can only do one thing well and is serverly compromised in everything else. Better to make a more useful ship with shorter jump range unless your aim is to make a single jump

In my current sector, some HIP stars are 1000+ly apart, so the higher jump range the better.
For anything else I use one of my other 30 ships. Including at least 3 other condas.
Sorry but I didn’t read all the replies. Just wanted you say that you probably don’t want an 83LY conda. I made one and it is the flimsiest ship I own and I don’t use it for anything other than to say I made one. I also have a real exploraconda that:
Has shields
Can boost
Has an SRV
Has a size 4 Corrosion resistant cargo rack
Repair limpet
Fuel transfer limpet
2x 6A AFMU’s
Collector limpet
7A scoop
Docking computer
Heat sinks
Could (but not currently) have a weapon to dump fuel
And has a 76+LY range.
you want something like that. (Not something that will explode at the slightest problem.) It can do anything for exploration and is super versatile and self sufficient. I can post a build later if you are interested.
With fleet carriers it propably canYour Conda can't get here ....
Does supercruise assist help with mapping?I'm getting 81.78ly with the following build (Shields switched off to reflect realistic power management)
No, but it does help you facepalming stars when jumping into systems.Does supercruise assist help with mapping?
Indeed. My 4Ly Vulture can get there. With fleet carriers it propably can![]()
