Question About Abandoning Missions

I know that abandoning missions negatively impacts your reputation with a minor faction, but does it also negatively impact their influence in the system?

No. Abandoning a mission won't affect influence anymore. It used to, but it was exploity and was nerfed. Failing a mission still affects influence though.

It used to, but players used it to maliciously inf-bomb factions because they could (and because they are arseholes), so FDEV took it out.
