Newcomer / Intro Question about fleet carrier jump maintenance cost

Quick question about carriers. I see that there is an added maintenance cost for every jump that a carrier makes. But is that reset after you paid your weekly maintenance fee? Or does every jump you take permanently raise the cost of up keep for you carrier?

Ok but I guess what I’m asking is, let’s say week one you jump 5 times. At the end of the week those jumps are added to your upkeep. Week two you jump 3 times. On week two are you just paying the upkeep on that weeks 3 jumps, or also for the 5 jumps again from week one?

You already paid for the maintenance required by the 5 jumps the previous week. So you just pay the maintenance cost associated with how ever many jumps you made in the current-billed week (in this case 3).

So it is not cumulative, it is just based on a weekly accounting period.

Each jump adds 100k to weekly upkeep. At the end of week it is deducted. Once week started u have 0 debt and it starts to grow about 5000/min which is salary to NPCs. (+5000000 minimal weekly fee).

Oh thank goodness. I thought it accumulated and was doing the math accordingly and was thinking it was going to get super expensive to keep. Thanks all!

About upkeep:

My services are Core and RRR (Refuel, Rearm, Repair) = 9,500,000 per week.

Now, my Upkeep is showing about 14,000,000 with projected costs and last week jumps (which should be reset)
This 14,000,000 exceed the services I have installed. How can that be?
What are the Projected Costs?
I made 10 Jumps last week and they were supposed to reset this week, bust they are still showing in the upkeep.

And it is hard to find answers for this in Google and other forums.

Please help me understand if it is a bug or a "feature".

My expectation for this week is the basic 9,500,000 upkeep that represent my services without any jump.

Sometimes the upkeep doesn’t get paid properly in which case the money is carried over onto the next weeks bill or until it gets paid, that might be the case here.

It doesnt make sense to me at all either. Most weeks i dont jump my FC but i jumped it a lot recently but the weekly bill actually went down.

Instead of bothering about the small diff , I guess just make more money. A single missions pays it off and more anyway.

It's not about the money. I have plenty. It is about getting things right. When I got the FC my main concern was the Upkeep so I kept it low. I accept the mechanics, just don't want to get robbed.
