Question about how things work around here

Easy peazy to explain:

Why is it that I can pay $45 to do 5 times more things in Star Citizen than what took me $60 to hope to do in Elite. Yet I can't even leave my chair in Elite, let alone seamlessly land in atmospheric planets with completely fleshed out ship manufacturers and NPC's?

And ye can experience all of that right now because its finished, polished and released to the general gaming public? Actually I cant...I forgot consoles aint invited to that party and I dont really have 2 grand lying about to buy a pc that could actually run the damned thing...

But by all means, I wish ye good luck on yer journey cmdr...I wish I could say I was jealous and actually be serious about it...but Im not...sorry...have fun ^

I regularly use the Ignore function. Unless their post is actually useful, well thought out, and/or makes a very good point, all posts that include words such as "USELESS", "TERRIBLE", "AWFUL" in their title earn an ignore.
