Question about stacking massacre missions.

Yes. I don't recommend it as it adds a bit to the time to farm the mission board, but it's an option if you are depserate.
In addition.. surface prts have a distinct generation algorithm which (seems to) favour a different distribution of missions to space ports

Find a haz res you like. Then plot all the stations within 10ly of the haz res. Go to each, 1 station in each system, and look for pirate kill missions at the system with your haz res.

You can stack up to 20 but some factions are in multiple systems.

So I've been stacking missions which target the san yax pirates as Jmanis suggested. What I dont understand is when I kill a bunch of the pirates some of the missions still say im at 0/40 but others say 19/25. I dont get how some can say zero when Ive been killing the same pirates?

My go to spots are the high res and now haz res

You stacked the same faction for both missions is the cause normaly...
up to 7 factions per station but factions can over lap and be on Multi stations...
If you take two missions for the same faction no matter which station they will not complete at the same time they will complete one after the other...
If you take faction A for 30 from station A then take faction A for 30 from station B they will require 60kills to complete
If you take faction B for 15 from station A then take Faction B for 15 from station B the will take 30 kills and both missions complete the same time as one mission for faction A...

I love my Chieftains, hull tanking with a 6C reinforced and fast charge shield is a great combination. However, it seems you don’t have these done just yet so it’s worth a warning when it comes to massacre missions - you may drop in to find one Anaconda only to find four or five smaller ships appear and start attacking. These are easily killed but they can knock your shields down considerably whilst you’re busy finishing off that Anaconda.

The way i do the above ones is to not shoot the annie but just ram the f out of him till he is down to 40% the open up with two PA's and pop him.. then all the other little ships appear and its clean up time!

What ship are you using to head butt the annie? Not sure that would work in my small ship :D

Designing a ship like my krait, had a fundamental insistence. That both close range and mid range be catered for. That way the unfortunate npc or cmdr doesn't have many options to avoid incoming.
This in turn forces them on the defensive.
Once that's attained it's fa off 3 sec boosts, volleys of railing semi auto style, and a face full of buckshot if they wander too close.
Works for me. Build a ship that can withstand heat. Armoured power plants run cool as do low emissions power plants.
Having internal module protection is essential.
Multicannons beams etc are boring. And do nothing to increase your piloting skills.
Railing, using PAs, or frag canons, even cannons, require alot of practice.
The one l linked earlier is a pve version. She has same weps but engineered differently to increase dps at the expense of ammo.
So I suggest to any noob..look at special weps and be patient.
Tip for railing Always Target (snipe) an internal. Power plant is good..as is fsd to stop em running.

Non war massacres stack very well. I am not sure if the ones coming from the same factions stack, the ones coming from different factions would definitely increase in parallel.

Are there massacre missions you can stack from multiple stations and systems which all target the same pirate group and system? I ask because right now I'm doing massacre missions out of Ithaca and they only have one orbital where I'm getting the missions to kill pirates in Aulis.

I'm finally feeling pretty decent with pve at the high res sites. killing 45 pirates doesn't take me too long with this build https://coriolis.io/outfit/alliance_chieftain?code=A4pktkFflndpsif47k7k271717170404030kB1m92b27272b2bm725.Iw18RQ==.Aw18RQ==.H4sIAAAAAAAAA42OOwrCUBBFJyaR/CQYYvw0/lAkOxAEXYKdLsNCsHEZLsAlWLoAl2RnMuOdV0QLhTx4hwtzuDMWr4motADvCcYRi2Q3h0ganOnIBoojEJ8LkTQpRTqLgKg3wmR6jWHaPFDTUfOk5vYlkjx8ovTShmnqXF6q5AK+Lgl0NNY00TTTNNckHu+rOnxytM49dIma9xA7TZ3/kX7Og68S+58U8q6SPCBfAeZwc3N/M4QU1ZFadSSh6r0BiasbDXgBAAA=.EweloBhBGA2EoFMCGBzANokMK4fiIA==

I have the mats to engineer the shield. boosters plus armor and hull to at least g4 but I havent even bothered yet because Im handing these pirates as is.

Well...I was about to offer all the same advice that’s already been posted here, but it looks like the other Bounty Hunters beat me to it.

I’ll get me coat...
