Engineers Question for the Devs.... Can you respond to the issues that have been raised on the forums?

This reminds me of when my 6 year old walks up and says: dad, dad, dad, Daaaaaaad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad ,daaaaaaaaaaaaaaad....and won't stop until I look at him and say what. Nevermind that I was in the middle of making his dinner or something....you know, just busy taking care of his welfare. I figured anyone who had learned to login to a forum and post a thread would have matured past that phase...learn something new every day.

Continuing the analogy... the devs are giving us the silent treatment because they're mad that we don't like their update? They have all the power in this relationship after all.

Not asking for a fix date etc.…. just that the issues are known and you will be addressing them
This may go a long way in helping to relieve the frustration in a lot of the player base.

Storage for cargo / modules
AI issues (not the skill level) but the excessive interdiction's (example 5 jumps and 4 interdiction's with no cargo)
AI use of engineer weapons and upgrades ?
Excessive grinding for materials
Roll the dice for the upgrades

Added feature to the surface scanner to identify materials on the surface (before you go grind) that would save a LOT of frustration.

OR:

An accessible (buyable) system database from a contact in the contact list collated from users selling exploration data to identify materials in local systems.

They are very quiet. The engineers patch if I were them id just delete it. Problem solved.

And I would've thought a parent would've matured to the point of being able to walk away from a discussion without looking like a condescending tool.

Is it hard to ignore all the stuff they fix/change/improve that we discuss here. It seems like it would be hard. I guess if you focus really, really hard on just one or two things that they haven't made major improvements to, you could do it, but that would be exhausting.

Clearly not though, there you go again. Is it possible for you to turn down the white-knighting for a few seconds? If not, is it possible to keep your ridiculous statements to yourself? No?

What exactly was the thread contributing to the forum?

Maybe if FDev sees that we see how unfocused, unfinished, and poorly implemented this update was, they'll finally take action. That's a big maybe. It's less likely with all the trolls such as yourself who feel the need to defend them from any sort of criticism, constructive or not.

Guess what? They don't need you, and your defensiveness proves nothing. The only thing that really matters is preserving their market share, and if their last earnings report is to be believed (and why wouldn't we), along with the delay of 2.1, would indicate that is at the very least diminishing.

You realize they have to be able to pay the bills to keep the servers on, right? You are familiar with bills, yes?

It's more like the 6 year old was told to mow the lawn for some cash, the only tool around was a pair of scissors, and the dad isn't responding to our questions.
