Engineers Ships Question on how to get an invitation for Engineer "Marco Qwent"

Good evening!

As my topic says, I try to get an invitation to "Marco Qwent".

I already have the "You learned about Marco Qwent from Elvira Martuuk." step and now I'm trying to get the "You gained access to Marco Qwent because you became friendly with the Sirius Corporation." one.
My Reputation with the "Sirius Corporation" is already "Allied".

I tried to fly a Mission for the "Sirius Corporation" but completing that mission didn't solve the problem with the invitation.

Does someone have an idea on how to solve that particular problem?

Sounds like you should contact Frontier Support and submit a ticket.

Pretty sure there's an invitation mission involved. You may have to hit several stations to see it, unless that is bugged.

Do you already have the Sirius permit?
IIRC you should go to one of the adjacent systems -- like Luyten's Star, 82 Eridani, that corner - and check out the mission board, there ought to be one special "invitation mission" marked with a chain symbol; do that and everything should be fine. If not, I guess it's ticket time.

Try Paterson Enterprise in Sirius. If that doen't work, do what Kayvan suggests.

Once allied with Sirius Corporation a special mission should appear if you're at one of their starports which gets you a permit to the Sirius system (I think I picked this up at Davy Dock in Procyon).

Once you get to Sirius, you need to complete a further mission to get the engineer invitation. This is usually available from the main starport, Patterson Enterprise, if I remember. Once that mission's done you're able to visit and donate the required commodities.

I think it's the most annoying engineer unlock. Good luck!

I don't have a Sirius permit yet I've checked it yesterday.

Just for clarity, but at the risk of being annoying, I guess you've been checking mission boards at starports owned by Sirius Corporation (listed here - but click on "starports")?

The permit mission would normally show up at the top of "all missions" and be quite easy to spot, if I remember right.

I was on the New Holm station. It doesn't look like it's on the list you've send me. I'll have a look at on of the stations you've provided.

Try the ones near to Sirius. Make sure you show as "allied" to Sirius Corporation. This being so, you shouldn't need to donate.

You definitely won't get Marco's invite from Robigo. I'm fairly sure you have to get it in Sirius. It's not even a real mission, it's essentially just a flag.

The permit is from a mission, via the mission board you get while docked in your ship (not the on-foot mission boards inside the station).

From the forum link posted:

Since V886 Centauri is over 20LY from Sirius, Spirit of Laelaps is not going be where you get your Sirius permit.

Did you try looking at the Sirius Corporation owned stations near to Sirius? I'd suggest giving the ones at Procyon a try - one of Cormack Hub, Davy Dock, Hardwick Station, Pontes Gateway. If no luck there, I'm out of ideas, other than Frontier Support.

I found this information in a different reddit threat to be honest, but I'm glad that I have it now and yours would have been correct too!
