Question to "tag everything"-ers

I just thought I would post this. The suns farthest away from the major is around 450k Ly, so quite a bit of travelling in cruise. The question is, "Would you do a complete scan?" Well.... I did

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. Why do you tag EVERYTHING in a system rather than leave something for someone else?

Because if I don't scan all those gas giants' moons, no one else will. Also, if I don't scan them all, I may miss out on a universal cartographics galactic record. Although to be completely honest, I've been getting a tad lazy about checking for candidates lately...

Nope, doesn't cross my mind at all.

Mind you, I "tagged everything" before tags even existed in the game...

Does the entire galaxy count as a system of interest? Aside from the primary object, a few other bits and pieces surrounding it are up for grabs.

Just heard that all tags will be reset for 1.6/2.1. Had something to do with shortening the update time.
Oh, and very conveniently, I'm a short trip from Sgr A*...

Just left the bubble again after being in it for 2 days. It smells of other people. Trekking towards Bubble.

Anyway, I'm having quite the opposite experience. I like seeing systems completely tagged. the data has been brought back, so humanity knows all there is to know at the moment about this system. No loose ends, neat and clean.
