Questions about 2.4 engineered Moduls

So testing out the new engineering system I flew my dbx to palin and got the dirty drive blueprints.
Now back in Kremainn I can engineer all ships except for my vulture, which has engineered drives since 2.3.

Do I have to go to Palin with to grandfather previously engineered moduls, or is this a bug?

Depends on the level that old drives have been engineered to. The grandfather conversion can only be done at a matching engineer. If your old drives have level 3 or lower, Felicity Farseer can do that. If your old drive is level 5, only Palin can do it. No idea what happens if your old drive is level 4 - it would drop down to level 3, which is within Felicity's range, but you won't be able to do any upgrades on it, which may make it necessary to do the conversion at Palin.

From what I understand you have to grandfather old mods first and you can only do that at the engineer base not with remote engineering.
