Newcomer / Intro Questions About ( Minor Wreckage )

You tried to steal cargo that someone owned, and which was defended by drones. You got the message that you were trespassing, which you ignored. You destroyed the drones, and then took the cargo. You ARE the bad guy in this scenario.
Everyone is the hero of their own narrative. ;)

I gave in and purchased the Python.
My balance is now 21M credits and my Insurance is 4.2M
Heading out to earn more credits. I love going to planets and scanning.
I haven't even done any missions yet, and also I have to try to find those resources timers in space.
I have 12 limpet collectors just to try it out.
But in the meantime, I am sticking to scanning planets on planets to get another 100M,
To safe guard myself for insurance :D

My python has 4 railguns and 2 lasers. And can jump 17-LY
and most modules are on A from E and D. Few have B, because it was expensive for some items.
But in time I will upgrade. Just dont want to be without insurance monies. hehehe.

:D

Rails on a Python - well, unless you are some sort of FA-off wizard then you are in for a surprise if you try to fight with them. Python is not the most manoeuvrable of ships so fixed weapons are not an easy win.

I hope you have learned about module class - fitting B equipment is really only of use in a dedicated combat build, they are more robust but have hugely more mass. Leaving E modules on a ship is never a good choice (except when selling it) they are basically jobbie - fit D for lightness, A for best performance or C for OK performance if you can't afford A.

Go earn loadsamoney and fit your new ship better - but I wouldn't go biological-hunting in a Python - you need something that can land in tricky spots, like DbX (or S) or even a Hauler if you are short of credits. (Hauler is often overlooked, but it has a good jump-range for the money, bit like a Reliant Robin. ;) )

P.S. Can I have the name of the engineer that gave you an extra hardpoint on the Python?
