Questions about Sandbox Missions

Bought the Game a few Hours ago and after playing the Campaign for a While, I wanted to play in Sandbox and noticed that you can play in 1993 Mode 😍
What I wonder about though: if you activate Missions, will they be appropriate or can I randomly get Missions that wouldn't make Sense in the 1993 Park?
Also are the clonable Species limited like in the Jurassic Park Mode of the first Game?

Glad you are enjoying the game!

If memory serves, it mostly are random generic missions that works in any mode. Like build hotels, incubate certain dinosaurs, hire specific staff, etc. There was an issue where the game would ask you to build monorails while using building sets that lack them, but that was patched out years ago. I believe the worse thing you could experience now is potentially having a dinosaur related contract that would include using a hybrid if you are not interested in that in your 1993 game play.

The limit doesn't exist! I remember back in JWE1 where you could incubate a curated roster to match the retro theme, but JWE2 thankfully removes that in their sandbox and custom challenge modes, so you could incubate any animal that is available in the game with any building set in mind.

In the current game, you could only experience the old JP cast of characters via the Chaos Theory games and curated challenge mode. The Sandbox and Custom Challenge mode would only use the default crew regardless what building set/era you are using. I hope we could swap characters in the next game :(

A bit disappointing and a little bit weird because in the previous one, they were also in the Sandbox
