Hello everyone, fellow zookeepers and wildlife enthusiasts.
As a wldlife conservationist and long time animal park sim enjoyer, I was until last week mostly trying to contain dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 1-2 when I finally jumped the gap and started playing Planet Zoo on PS5 after months of hesitation.
I totally got absorbed by the game, playing close to 40 hours in less than a week, but I still can't figure out something: community challenges. For nearly a week the panel on the main menu has that unplugged logo on the side regarding community challenges saying that none is actually active. I've spent time on Franchise and challenges but I was wondering if those challenges were actually a thing on console (PC states that they are weekly and one based on cheetahs seems to be currently happening.
So my question is simple: have I not been waiting enough? Are consoles not getting challenges as often as PC? How do those work? If one has an answer to provide, I'll thank him dearly. If you do, do propose a name for either short clawed otters, marine crocodiles or sulfur crested cockatoos, 3 types of animals I'm currently working on in terms of rehab and relocation!
Have a great game, all!
Jim
