quick question, can you actually get a mug from hutton?

are they worth much?
the farther you fly from the source system, the more you can sell them for (the values top out at around 150ly away). Don't know the max value.
But it's not worth going there just for those. Better off going to Lave and surrounding systems if you want to haul and sell rares.
So long as you travel with them about 150-200 ly.

Yes, excellent idea. A few more quirks like that would be great. A bit like Cobra Mk 4. Quirky, probably would prompt some whining, but interesting nonetheless.
A real mug would be pretty cool, but would incur a cost to whoever you redeemed the coupon with (so either the Hutton Truckers group or FDev, depending on who ran the promotion). I think it would be more practical for FDev to have a virtual mug which, once redeemed, you could sit on your cockpit dashboard like a bobblehead.
That said, I think Hutton Truckers do very occasionally make real mugs available as promotional items or prizes.
