Quick question: megaships- do they move with the weekly tick?

Just a (hopefully simple) question: do all active megaships move?

I know they don't move in the conventional sense and that some have destination boards, but what about the ones as seen in the beta- do they move systems each cycle, day etc? Can we find out where they are headed?

In the beta, you could find out where they were headed, by scanning a certain part of them. It was supposed to give you a kind of manifest of their journey.

However... when I did this, I couldn't find out where this manifest was supposed to be read from, it said I had gained the data, but I just couldn't find it.

I'm sure that will be sorted on launch (or may have been before the end of beta for all I know)

I'm not sure if it's strictly the weekly powerplay/bgs "tick" but certain megaships are moved during the weekly server maintenance reboot at 7am on Thursday mornings. I've attempted to flag all the megaships which have a "moving" flight-plan over in my thread here ..

The Canonn Research website (which I've linked to from my own thread) also tracks these flight plans.

Seems the flight plans are old and out of date or just plain wrong. I've spent the last 2+ hours in and out of game trying to find a single megaship to try to loot and nothing. Jumped to every systems listed in the flight plans for 3 different ships and it wasn't in any of the systems listed.

Given this is Elite we're talking about I'm not sure if it's yet another bug or if the data is wrong.
