Ad hominem is pretty drab I reckon. I was not trying to troll. I was making a comment in regards to how I view threads like this and in particular the poll which is the subject of this thread.
90 votes is really inconsequential especially when the poll is actually meaningless. But hey that is just my opinion. If this thread and your poll serves to float your boat and helps facilitate some kind of meaning for you then go and get after it. I wish you all the best in your endeavour.
If you want to seek a refund then go for it, don't feel the need you need some kind of community support to validate your choice.
IMO maybe half of the "don't care" and a good proportion of "do nothing" came after Michael Brooks' comment on the expected duration of Beta-Alpha release. It's possible that opinions changed based on new information.
You clearly did not even bother to read the threads. Very disappointing to see you persist to state this as if it were fact.
The pattern has been diverging consistently, ie the strongest opinions grew slightly stronger and has not changed since the first couple of hours.
That said it is what it is, and after Michaels clarification I probably would not have put it up.
Yet you persisted in trying to collate the info and some way to try and justify it?
More than anything it demonstrates that FD really do need some help when it comes to marketing.

Whilst not entirely FDs fault (some people just like the drama and persist with it post fact) they need to realise that what they say and how affects people, and more care needs to be taken concerning backers / release dates / etc. They have shown that they care a great deal about ED and it would be a shame if they keep shooting themselves in the foot.
By the same token posts in this thread (and similar) demonstrates that there are a lot of people who really need to take a step back and chill out. With the poorly worded newsletter rather than ask for clarification we get the "end of the world" drama's, general goading and gnashing of teeth, arguments, and for me drama that I (sadly) got drawn into.
This is a good community forum - FD are doing an excellent job - we need to cut them, and ourselves, some slack here.

No you were attacking every poll ever conducted ever, you did not specify a single charastic of this one and argue against it.
I'm not here to teach you the basics of qualitive research method's. THE POINT IS TO GET AWAY FROM OPINIATED LOUD MOUTHS LIKE YOU. And determine reasonably what is going on.
