R.I.P. Bunda: Now I'm a bit disappointed in the BGS

Bunda, a large-population system right next door to my home base at Shinrarta Dezhra, used to be Anarchy. It was a super place to test new builds without bounty worries, had oodles of assassination missions, and was great for impromptu PvP, plus the station stocked all the finest illegal stuff, had Interstellar Factors, and a black market. All these things are gone now, and the BGS has made the game less fun (for me).

And it's not an issue that can be solved by just finding a new system; the great thing about the way things used to be was that there was a huge amount of player traffic in the area, so there was always someone to meet up with. That was unique, and now it's gone (for me). Single tear rolls down my cheek. :(

I'm sorta at the tipping point to playing something else.

Change it back to an anarchy then.

Easier said than done in high trafic areas. I fact, depending on the circumstances it cas be borderline impossible.

Well someone managed to do it.

EDIT: It's not even done very well. 28.4% vs 20%? That isn't much to grab back... almost certainly the result of natural fluctuations so shouldn't be hard to wrest back at all.

Can i have your stuff?

You should, provided you don't meet with focussed resistance, be able to move about 2.5% influence per day. It's a powerplay control system, so I don't think it's a powerplay group that flipped it.

The anarchy faction still own Cori Orbital, so you'll be able to drop exploration data. You'll probably need to as an agri is going to draw lots of traffic for its commodities. Cori Orbital has a black market that you can exploit too.

I powerplay is not involved then it should indeed not be too hard to flip back.

Not all gone go to next Station only Faraday changed

The galaxy is too dynamic?

I'd love a truly dynamic representation of the Milky Way and its inhabitants' civilizations. Example:

A star in a populated system is going to go nova in 3 months. Cmdrs have to evacuate the 4 billion people to a safe area, build facilities to receive them, protect them from pirates, etc etc. And then, after 3 months, the star goes nova. Permanently, persistently, in-game for everyone to see depending on where they are in relation to the star (1 LY away, then 1 year from now you'll see the star go nova in-game..., or go there now and see it now).

Le sigh...

Unfortunately, there are a lot of reasons to be frustrated (and to be positive, also a lot of reasons to keep playing), but sorry mate, this is just completely absurd %)

That is maybe already implemented, given that the probability for a super nova happening in our galaxy is something like 1 or 2 per hundred years, you can now calculate the chances that it will happen within the bubble. Another realism note: A star does not suddenly (and on a star's timescale 3 months is ultra-suddenly) go supernova but it is an observable and predictable process (at least if you are near) and humanity (or whatever) would flee long before.. But sorry, yes I know it is a game and we can make anything up! We don't care for realism ;)
