Racing

Introduced a new player to the game, and saw the opening training for the first time. The rings that are set up to test maneuverability and flight can easily be used for racing in this game.
Different factions in the system can race each other, it can be a tournament or something like that in the missions.
Players can also race each other and even put money down to increase the reward for the winning player.

space racing?!

i do wonder why we don't have ingame activities where we race against other space ships. i recently deleted my save (again) and did the new tutorial. it has you fly through some checkpoints. these would fit perfectly for a space racing mode. could be just time attack, against npc's or player...

I know this must have been suggested before. I noticed during the September reveal stream that you have in game checkpoint rings. I think it would be absolutely awesome if you could somehow have random race events spawn on planets! Both for SRV and Ships (or Fighters). You could use the already...
