When the war comes, I actually expect to be on the line standing between humanity and night, and I dont expect to survive that encounter, but if it gives our civilian ships time to evacuate more people, then it will be a life not given in vain.

And I expect all of you to be standing alongside, whether imperial , federation, alliance or freelance.

You guys run all you want. I'm still hopeful we'll be able to achieve at least a general non-aggression understanding, where there might be individual skirmishes (provoked by individuals from either side), but not a full scale war. And if it comes to that.. Set condition one throughout the ship and launch the ship-launched fighters. Starbuck, what do you hear?
