Railroad connection

Hey there
Due to the restrictions with the railroad track I can't seem to connect 2 ends of the track..
Please let us have smaller curves or no restrictions at all..
I can't just rebuild the park because my train track can't be layed out..
Any way I CAN connect them in this space, any ideas?

Raising the land that they sit on should pull the two ends apart and that might work. Might have to delete a few segments both sides and do a gentle slope but that’s the only workaround I can think of. Otherwise you’ll just have to keep deleting alternate ends until you can manipulate it better.

Like Mez says, probably your only real option is to delete enough of the track to get create a gap between the ends that's at least 1m or so greater than the shortest possible length of the track segments, so you can then autocomplete the extra space.

When I have this sort of problem (not just with trains but any ride where you build the track), I generally delete the entire troublesome area back to the 1st section of track on 1 side that's longer than the minimum track segment length. I then shorten this piece to the minimum and then rebuild either from there or the other end using only minimum length segments. That way, when I get to the other end, I'll have the gap created when I shortened the longer-than-minimum segment and autocomplete will work.

I tried everything, I've been struggling for hours now.
But with no good result..
When I think I finally got it, I get the 'track limits exceeded' error.. [cry]

are you getting the icon to auto complete it? You should see it roght before you want to complete the last piece of track.....if you don’t, like mentioned by others, you have to have a small gap. You can’t cross the tracks like that you won’t get the auto connect icon that pops up. hope it works for you.
