To be honest, I think that most of what Ronan187 says is true. We've crossed paths a few times at George Lucas, and never once did him and his friend get my shields down, even on my little Adder. Some close calls, and I did get blown up by the station when I opened fire. That was my fault, not theirs. Actually I quite enjoyed the edginess of coming up against genuinely manic gameplay. And they really are NOT alone. I've met a Python pilot, and the notorious Anaconda one too, plus a couple of question marks of pilots who passed me really close by when I did evasive moves who may or may not have been trying to rm. I don't see Solo as even slightly valid for avoiding people who are playing within the rules, and I did dozens of rares runs in and out of George Lucas by flying very carefully, and learned a hell of a lot about using the lateral thrusters to play matador to an incoming Cobra. Easy really.
I won't say I salute the rammers, but they did have a kind of idiotic class about them which I miss.
Good luck with your community goals. It was fun while it lasted!
