Random Pattern and Color Selection gene

Is there any chance of a "random" option under the pattern and coloration gene? It would randomly pick from available patterns and/or colors available in that section each time it was clutched. It would save you from having to go in and change up patterns and colorations every time you bred a dino. Especially if what you're after is not a particular look so much as just wanting variety in the dinos. It would be amazing if it could make the dinos in a single clutch look different from one another to cut down on how many clutches we need to do to achieve visual diversity, but even if it just changed the look from clutch to clutch I would love it. Please please please this would be much appreciated.

Having watched the live stream frontier posted with gameplay. I can say randomized patterns and colors is something I would still like as a quality of life feature and I believe it would work with what little we saw of the incubation process.

It would be perfect for the large clutch low-cost dinosaurs. They are the ones where you would want the most diversity in visual styles and were picking it for each of the dinosaurs and making a whole clutch just for one would get monotonous.

How it would work (a guess based on what I have seen of in-game systems)

The player would research the tech that would be unlocked by having at least two colors for random color and likewise for patterns.

In the first stage when you normally pick color and pattern along with all other modifications you would select random coloration or pattern for the color or pattern.

Once it got to the second stage where select which eggs to incubate, the color and pattern you ended up with would be listed, just like the current system list the selected color and pattern.

Players would then end up with a wide variety of visual styles in their single clutch of 5 eggs as opposed to having to make 5 separate clutches of eggs to achieve the same result.

Thanks for all the hard work, the game looks amazing and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

I have not been watching any of the YouTubers this past month because I do not want to spoil the game for myself so close to release. I was just curious if there is any system to randomize the paters and colors selection every time we clutch? Just a QoL thing I'm interested in although I may be the only one. A little less than two weeks to go, I can't wait.
