Is it merely an oath to be uttered when some pirate's beams screech along our hulls? Or when the cops scan us even though we are running colder than a politician's heart?
Or is there something more to this, some fatalistic, quasi religion born in the void?
There doesn't seem to be much in the way of religion that infects those of us who ply the space between stars. That seems to be the purview of isolated colonies, keeping their feet on the ground in permit locked planets and such like.
It always intrigued me, this idea and though I have looked, I've never found much out about it. Anyone have any info on the whole Randomius Factoria thing?
