Elite / Frontier Randomness of Hyperspace

Oh I don't tend to keep a Panther Clipper as my main form of transport....it's just useful for making oodles of wonga on a single run while remaining pretty impervious to attack. I would trade down to a Constrictor or Asp for having fun in! (Always a pain trading back up again, unless you happen to be able to find 9 or 10 people on the BBs seeking employment! Many is the time I've bought a big ship, only to find I can't crew it! (Always thought you should still be able to fly a large ship and make interplanetary runs, despite not having the full quota of staff!))

There is nothing worse than sitting in dock waiting for the crew to turn up. Could be aleviated by being able to own multiple ships and fly them as a fleet or similar. Have some wingmen...

Yeah that's me - living on the edge! In fact just the other day I was wearing miss matched socks! craaaaaaazy man! LOL
Space psychosis.

Personally, I prefer flying small, to medium ships. I think Asp is my favourite, because even the IC feels somewhat sluggish.
The only large ship I enjoyed flying was Boa, but sniping with turrets is far less interesting than dogfighting. There is also the roblem of being a sitting duck when you're flying a freighter and get attacked by IE with plasma accelerator, while similar encounter would only be moderately exciting for an experienced commander sitting in a rusty Adder (if you don't get missile'd, that is).

there is nothing better than bumping into a IE with a plasma accelerator when you are hoplesly out gunned in Spar and managing to doge the deadly blue beam for long enought to take down the IC with a beam laser. ****ing awsome

I took out my first IE with rusty, unshielded Adder equipped with 5MW pulse.
