So if I got this rank in the game, and legally, from the fleet, etc. so why am I not allowed to write it in front of my nickname in the game ?

Because that is set in stone when you first create your account barring acts of support at your request (maybe and possibly one off) or doing a total reset and start over.

And why is the rank of Elite reflected on the left when capturing someone else's ship, but his rank of this person is not.
Well at least in the task of killing many pirates awarded titles - Lord.

Elite is a rank awarded by the Pilots Federation which we are members of and so is important.

Would be nice if Auxiliary ranks came with occasional Federal/Imperial Navy missions turning up in one's messages that one could accept or turn down. I reckon that would go some way to giving one the impression that one is part of an organisation as opposed to just having a title that grants access to certain ships and systems.

I'd be happy if you just got a discount on something at affiliated stations and they called you by your rank when you asked for docking. Like you are preferred visitor or something.

But you definitely had military missions. And even a more interactive hacked together NPC communication system than what's available now.

There is a fairly simple form of recognition I'd actually really like to see: decals. Give me a little crown sticker to put on my ship at least after I grinded so hard for the space fash, er I mean glorious galactic empire.
