Raxxla - How it used to be...

I have started to remember some things I had forgot in time. I recall that Andromeda was also called the Galaxy 9.
Ben Ryders original portal to Galaxy 9 was in next system from Tionisla. I can’t recall exactly what system, because the names have been changed. This has been done to hide the truth about everything. I know that it was hidden so that we had to start our trip from Lave and circle around the system clockwise more than 7 systems before we entered the system with the portal. The idea was to make sure that we are not being followed. - However, the Allied Police forces were able to follow us to the planet with rings. We had to fight them off from our backs and this is why we also joined the Dark Wheel.

We paid Dark Wheel some amount of money for protection and for a membership. Ben could not trust anyone else. I could not even trust Dark Wheel, but I did not take it personally. They wanted some income from the portal but that was fine by me. It was not my business.

After fueling the portal and paying Ben Ryder the small price for starting the gate, he gave me 9 targets to go. One of them was a totally new target called Galaxy 9. Andromeda. This had never been seen in any other place. I chose the new galaxy in the list and I was boosted there.

After arriving to the Galaxy 9, the Cobra MK III was pretty much out of fuel. I was smart enough to have a fuel scoop installed. It took 3 jumps to get to star where I was able to refuel my ship.
I started to search for a station or a place to get my business back. I found Thargoids but they were not as aggressive as they were in our home galaxy. I spend a lot of time fighting against them to collect materials I could sell in any station near by. However, I did not find any real stations with markets. I got cargo bay full of worthless technology and I got literally bored. I wanted to get back to home galaxy and continue my life as a trader. But, for sake... I was stuck in Andromeda.

It took me hundreds of jumps just to find a one small outpost that did not buy or sell anything. They were only willing to fix my ship. They did not care even a bit about Thargoid technology that I had collected. This place was called Soonji. It was a paradise for veterans. A place for Elites to retire and to take over a farmers life. Only 100 Elites were allowed to be in this settlement. This was an agreement with some local clan called Raxxlans.
The time I was in Soonji, I was told that Raxxla and Thargoids have a stalemate in the galaxy and that their powers are equally matched. The Thargoids here were passive and Raxxlans were those that were looking for any reason to fight. They had a feudal system which was lead by an Emperor. Raxxlans themselves were reptiles who were very aggressive and even ready to kill anyone who entered their territory. The only way to make it here in this galaxy was to get a commercial deal with them. So I was given a galaxy map with a road to find Raxxla. Everyone at the settlement were saying that I would most likely die while going there.

I started to follow this path to Raxxla and suddenly I had to fight against all sorts of ships that had seen in our own home galaxy. They were extremely talented pilots and closer I got to Raxxla, more hostile they were. I had to win a fight to get to next system. Every step was harder than previous.

When I finally got to Raxxla… Eh. For you people this might be a disappointment... But...I recall Raxxla was there in the “West” side of the galaxy. It was not a planet, but a Coriolis space station. Very much the same type we have in use. Raxxlans claimed that the space station and the ships that have reptiles in their names are actually designed in Raxxla.

There I met the Emperor and he asked me to join his alliance. His generals did not like humans at all and hated us completely. … Dark Wheel had been breaking rules time to time and they were building a generation ship to transport more humans to their territory. Therefore I had a choice, to fight for humans or Raxxlans. They offered missions and reward was secrets of Raxxla, knowledge of the ships. Well ... Eventually things went wrong.

I chose humans... So... They declared war against humans... Thanks to Dark Wheel...

The Emperor of Raxxla was very disappointed due to fact he wanted to continue the Alliance, but they were left no choice. The Raxxlans began to attack the generation ship in waves. Every wave was harder than previous one and their skills were upgraded all the time. I have never seen Elite pilots to die so easily and I have no damn idea how I survived this battle. The waves always had 10 ships and there were always 10 waves in each war zone. For Raxxlans 10 was a holy number.

All I know is that many Elites died. Raxxla was attacked by Dark Wheel right after that and it was left in a bit of ruins. Their port technology were able to transport their Coriolis station and the planet to new location. I have never seen anything as massive as their system before... 5 huge towers sparking with energy were built on the planet and similar ones were attached to the Coriolis station.
When we celebrated the victory I was given some kind of poison. I started to lack memories and I only remember the hundreds of hours spend in space trying to get home. I had to fight Thargoids just to get their technology... I recall the only way back home was to steal one of their ships and use it to return home... Easier said than done.

After managing to get a Thargoid ship... I was able to somehow return home. I got to Lave with it and... The Allied Police force immediately started to bash the out of me. They let me go, but I was heavily beaten. The Thargoid ship was taken to Lave military research laboratory where it most likely remains.

At home. All my belongs and money was gone. I was already declared dead and because of that the only thing offered was to me was a god damn Eagle. The moment when I was able to get to the orbit with it the allied police force shot my ship to pieces. They collected me to their ship and threw me into a jail... This jail was orbiting a black hole...

They kept us Elites alive in a prison where time runs slow for us but fast for those who are outside. I remember there was a strange event and we were ... I don’t recall... I just remember I was given some kind of god damn poison to melt my brain... It made hard to remember things. I woke up in 3299... I remember that I was declared hostile to Empire and they shot me to bits every single time I tried to enter their stations.
I guess it has everything to do with my past. I did kill so many politicians to get money. I don’t even recall who I killed or why. I just did. Every time my reputation was completely trashed I just moved to new location and started to kill for money again. - This... reputation indeed followed me everywhere I went. An assassin...

Well... I did serve my time in the prison so they had to declare me free and the very next thing I remember that I was taken to Cosi System, Julian City to be exact in 3299. There as a member of Cosi Mercenaries we did fight for Felicia Winter for a while, but... It did not end up well. The generals or what ever “Star Marshals” did not listen to our reasoning at all... They did not even know what we were after when we tried to get stations towards Maya system... Hell... Yea... I place bets they know now. Aisling Duval offered us a job... Now that is all I can say...
Then... I did try to explain Canonn Research of my knowledge, but I just got load of laughs from them. I kinda were forced out from their company. f.... Honestly. I hope they saved the truth in their butts when INRA spelled the truth at their face.

Thargoids are back... I think it would be totally irrelevant to continue this...
Jason Ryder, the son of Ben Ryder was murdered by the Dark Wheel, because he was about to expose the entire background of the story. - Yet.. We still do not know it all. We know Dark Wheel must have a way to get to “Galaxy 9” or else they would have not have that Soonji as their place to retire... There are two ways to get to Raxxla. - Indeed... The 3rd would be to rebuild the path... But... They do transport time to time.. We need to find them.

Well... What did Raxxlans do? They literally destroyed all our galaxy ports to travel with... This is why we are now stuck in our own home galaxy... Hiding the truth has been the biggest cover up show by all the Powers in the Galaxy. There are 8 other galaxies out there, but we are not connected to them anymore... We do not even know can we restore them again...

You all are in it now. There is Thargoids, Guardians and... Raxxlans... Yet those who believe that we are in peace with Raxxla... Sorry... It can be possible but it is very unlikely. After all... It was us who broke the alliance with our own arrogant actions in their territory.
I hope you enjoy the future...

Being a member of the Dark Wheel for over hundreds of Elite years... Well they did not ... rescue me.. or .. Did they??
Sincerely - Roen Soul

PS: The first pilot to fly through Ben's portal was one of the Russian pilots who wrote the game story into a computer magazine released in 1989 in Finland. This magazine has all the missions to unlock the path to Raxxla. Find it... MB

The story is based on true game play of the series. Everything here is actually found in the old games... Including Raxxla.

I have something to say about the lore.

The lore itself included hints what to look for. There were questions that the members of the lore did not know. It was up to player to understand the concept of an intro instead of just thinking that is all there is in it. So, indeed. The lore does not give you exact paths to complete the missions, but they do in their way give you hints what to search for. In order to find the Raxxla today, you must not think that what is not written in official Canon can not be there... That is wrong way of doing this. The right way is to take the hint and search for the actual truth in the game. This was exactly the idea of the first versions of this game.

Amiga 500 lore is told to be non canon. however it WAS the very first computer that had just barely enough memory to add the 8 galaxies and with a tweak the 9th. A clone galaxy of galaxy 1, just with new name generation and just few relevant stations in the galaxy. In other words it was empty because the galaxy 9 wasn't supposed to be found. Yes, the programmer left there a way ... The hidden path that started all these myths.

In 1989 a russian player was able to find these hidden missions in Lave Station and followed Ben Ryder, just like I did.. Through his missions we were given an option to built the portal and as a reward, we chose to be boosted to Galaxy 9. This was the only way to get to Raxxla. Yet Raxxla did appear after the portal had been used... There was only few missions first that were given by Raxxlans. They wanted to test loyalty. And in the end Dark Wheel broke the alliance by breaking the rules of the territory.

The game actually end with a text telling lot of lore data which was mentioned in the lore, but with answers to the questions that were left open in the books. If the book asks something the answer is in the game...

So in order to Find Raxxla today, we have to accept the fact that some .exe file which was not written to Amiga does not include the missions... The fact that Raxxla is actually and only in Amiga version.. How are you able to think that A500 version is not official Canon then.. While saying that Raxxla exists the very same breath your including the hidden missions from "non-canon" version of the Amiga into lore world...

Yes the very original source code has been found and it has been reviewed to restore the story... So yet. Telling me that my story is not a canon while very same time everyone wants it to be 100% canon.. Stop arguing. Follow the lore but instead of trying to find answers from the book. Look for the questions in the book and find the solutions from the game....

The books are not written as spoilers how to complete the missions. The missions are out there to be completed. The book is supposed to refer to these missions so you would go and search for them. The entire idea of lore is to give you a light house that circles around the issues so you would be able to get to start point of it.

In order to Find Raxxla, you need to be Elite Rank and you need to find the hidden trade roads and they in far history started from Lave... Dark Wheel will introduce themselves to you when the time is right... You will not find them before you match their purpose.

So what I know about Raxxla and what does it mean today.

Raxxla is a system with a planet and a Coriolis station, both which are able to be transported to new locations. The very reason to transfer these were the fact that Raxxlans were heavily industrial and always consumed everything to build new technology and to maintain clan wars. Their system was based on feudal organization where clans had their own areas. They were fighting each other to win the rights to breed in the given territories. Raxxlans had a terrible problem with population so they invented system to keep it in control... Simply... They had to relocate in order to survive. So, in other words. Raxxla is not stationary in any position. They move around galaxy in order to find new places to consume.

Raxxlans do not care even a bit about Thargoid technology. They simply are the opposite of each other. While Thargoids are heavily based on biogenetics, the Raxxlans are heavily electronics...Almost like Guardians... Which makes me wonder who did invent them.

It is not exactly having a civil war when Raxxlans kill each other. It is their way to gain position in the feudal system and to test their new technology. This path has been going on ever since they invented the system.

We might find more answers to Raxxla by learning from Guardians. I know it was hybrid technology which Ben Ryder used. All tho one of the missions were to rob Tionisla Grave Yard to get a power plant, distributor and FSD booster in order to attach them to the Portal system. This is also why Allied Police Force got involved in this...

The fact we have lost all the portals to travel between galaxies and very same time the position of Raxxla is " unknown " we do have the option that Raxxlans came to Milky-way in order to restore the alliance or to attack us.. Not sure exactly. In Galaxy 9 their goal was to wipe us out since we broke the rules... So, are we actually friendly with them? It has been hundreds of years since the battle and we still control our own parts of the Galaxy... It is very strange that we angered a major species which has technology level far above us and they just would just stop killing us. Maybe they just calculated that attacking humans would actually break the balance they had been able to create in their home galaxy. The fact we can rock the balance is the key why we are pretty much isolated to our own bubble...

But in order to maintain us in control... I purely assume they have a system they have been building in order to control humans... Hybrid warfare ...AI hacking is one of their ways... Sabotage is valid tactics of warfare...

We still fly their ships and have some of their Coriolis stations in use.. However... We humans also invent... Therefore our world the Elite in 3303+ is not going to be the same as before.

Thargoids still haven't actually shown their "capital ships" in flight, the queen... We misunderstood some of them as ships as technology, while they actually ARE living beings... There are no ships in Thargoid world... The only way to fly Thargoids is to be swimming in their brain and to pull their nerves... But, thats just how it goes... Thargoid head is transparent and their brain is about the same size with humans..

You have most likely heard rumours about the tests where the brains were switched and human brain was actually able to control the body for a while and live in it... Yes well... That was done in Lave... But how does it play in the game?

I would argue that there is far more to find from Thargoids than we know. We read lore and we denie studies .. Can't we just upgrade the lores instead of believe in 300+ years old knowledge???

Today the lore is like having a flat earth. Very same time all the knowledge that is right in front of you is following the "fact that the lore is a flat earth"... In order to get any relevant information out from alien technology.

Thargoids and Guardians might well be related in opposite ways. This reminds me a lot how Raxxlans played a role in the old game. In fact we need to combine both of their technology in order to get back where we used to be and to survive through this next sinister situation...

The Rift is still unsolved... It is not complete.

Stop reading the books and start writing them. Find the answers to questions...
If there is a question in a book and there is no answer written in the entire book...
Mark the question and solve it.

Brabens chimera. I was the boy who would cry himself to sleep, too. Still exploring among the stars, I have the correct words but my math was wrong. Somewhere along the road story got bigger than what ever will lie there. Rift is not complete, but it's getting clearer by every passing day what it was. Thargoids are blind. Part of this simulation is indoctrination.
