RCT3 coaster options for coasters. AND PLEASE Can the chain lift please not be counted as a blocked section

Wait.. there is an option isn't there?! What does the "Don't Block Station" option do if it doesn't turn off the lift hill being a block?!

It will ignore the settings like minimum wait / minimum load and dispatch a train when another one is coming into the station.

My input: lifts should absolutely be block sections. They always are in real life, even if you don't realize it.

If your coasters stop at the top of lifts (I'm assuming that's the OP's problem) then you should either design them better or increase the time between dispatches.

Departure interval is really useful. Ideally, you want the train to leave the station just before the train behind it enters.

Yay! It works now, just like I thought it should!

It is essentially "leave when another train arrives at the station".
You can now run empty trains to your hearst content!

Thanks Alex. It didn't work yesterday. :)

Please i beg first is to have chain lifts not to be a blocked section and 2nd we need more options kinda like the amount rct3 had.
Seems that Mr. Regan got his will.

So is there an option for everyone who is trying to build a realistic coaster to turn the chainlift into a block section?

A simple coaster got a layout like this: Station, Chainlift, Tracklayout and a block brake right before the station. This (in real life) means 3 block sections so that the coaster can operate with 2 trains. I can't manage to do so in PC. Help!?

In RCT3 I sometimes used a big lift hill on a Wild Mouse & had two or three cars going up it at once. I know it's not realistic, but I won't be able to do that anymore if the lift hill is always set as a block brake.

Bring back lift hills with the option of not being a block brake!

Oh & Frontier, if you could please add the Wild Mouse coaster that would be mucho appreciated! [big grin]

The lift is a block section since the beta, and you can make a coaster as you described it able to run with 2 trains. In real life operators manage to dispatch trains with specific timing in order to prevent the train to wait at the top of the lift and the other one to wait at the brake zone the time the first one leave the station. In PC coaster you need to manage tais with the dispatch options :)
