Made a huge mistake yesterday..I evade interdiction every time. It's easy peasy squeezy lemons.. but I thought I would submit to an interdiction so I could blow the bar steward up coz he was bothering me all the time. Following me everywhere I went. Since I've not ever lost an interdiction I thought by submitting it would mean it be easier to kill him. 1.2.3 I'm dead. Whoops

Am I right in thinking that you have to evade interdiction then kill. Can it be done through submission and if so how do you accomplish it..

Submit, line up weapons, kill NPC. Doesn't get more complicated then that. No need to submit these days, Interdictions have been made easy to evade in any ship. Even if you kill the NPC, they will still respawn again, waste of time unless you want the extra cash for the kill.

Ten years ago I was flying Teladi Freighters in X3TC. Not really sure what to suggest regarding the T-10, it is a lumbering beast, quite easy in interdictions as long as you use 'yaw' as well as roll/pitch.

Was it an NPC? What ship and rank? What was your loadout? Else it's hard to comment anything but "if you're prepared, you'll never be destroyed by an interdicting NPC, ever".

If you want to fight - submit, if you want to escape - win the interdiction mini-game, if it looks like you'll lose that - you can still submit to benefit from the lowered FSD cooldown.
