Horizons Really large landable planets: the list.

Hey folks, I thought it could be nice to reference the largest (radius wise) landable planets we encountered so far. A top 50 shall be maintained and updated in this post, maybe more later on.

Would you be kind enough to provide one (or more) nice, moody screenshot(s) of your planet, as well as its specs from the system tab, in form of a screenshot too? Pretty much like the post below. If you don't want to/can't land there, just give the specs and name, it's quite alright. You can also give you CMDR ID if you like, so I can pin it to your contribution. Again, not mandatory. It does not matter that you are not the actual discoverer, by the way.

Thanks a bunch!

So, here's mine so far. Maybe ridiculous, I dunno yet :p

Define "largest"
Highest mass? Radius? Surface gravity? All of the above?

Radius, yes, thanks for the correction. Updated.

Didn't take a new screenshot when I went back but it is still without an atmosphere and landable. Nice and smooth too with 2.6g gravity. You can cruise for eons at 50m/s after going down a couple slopes. If you want to move to a different landmark don't even try to drive. Get in your ship, go into supercruise and come back to land right on top of it, or you'll be driving for literal days to get there.

I know there are a couple 40 earth masses planets out there but I think they have atmospheres. This is the largest without an atmosphere I've seen so far.

Could I suggest that this thread is moved to the Exploration section? Maybe you could work with Pattu82 so the largest one makes it into the Galactic Record Breakers when it is updated.

I didn't discover this planet originally, but I have just been in the system. I'm on a deadline so I couldn't land on it, funny how it's almost twice the size of the Earth and yet only has 0.71g

Yup I thought of that first but then realized that it was kind of directed towards Horizon's owners. Don't know. I'd say, mod call on that one :)
Where is Pattu82 thread, btw? Could not find it.

Inverse square law - the radius is is nearly double as well.

NGC 2264 SECTOR RT-I D9-4 A 2

Earth Masses: 16.86
Radius: 18,692km
Gravity: 1.96G

The craters on this thing were awesome, it's hard to see just how massive the crater is in that picture without full-screening it, landing at 2G with 27% hull wasn't too easy either.

(Not my planet btw, was already discovered by a guy called Kryfield, I'll be updating my spot with a better one of my own once I find it!)

Updated. Thank you boys and girls!

Don't worry, it does not matter. Many of those planets may very well have been discovered long ago. I changed the OP a bit in that regard.

OK they're not the biggest, but how about 3 in the same system? :) 61 Virginis 1, 2 and 3 each getting progressively larger and with higher gravity. Could be a good system to practice landings on.
