reboot repair failed?

Nor can the canopy - I tested it in beta, I broke the canopy then kicked off a reboot, it repaired all the PEW PEW stuff but I started gasping for air 30ly from a station lol! I'll have to upload the test! haha

I dream of a day we will be able to use the spare cargo space and empty hardpoints to equip a setup that will allow for spot repairs in EVA. A man can dream, months away from civilization and completely independent. Broken windshield? Scoop up silicates from a gas giant and repair it! Tried to last second scan that planet and ended up falling out of SC? Better head off to an asteroid belt to find some metals to patch the old ship back up. Oh that's cool, you're experienced in repair? You can now combine silicates and metals to make reinforced glass panes!

Some say it would make it "too easy". I can see the logic behind that but damn do I wish my exploratory journeys weren't limited to a sheet of glass.
