Recently (last 2 days) lot of Mauve Adder

Hi,
yesterday I had several Mauve Adder each after e.g. 10 mins (4 times) in the YZ Ceti Area doing Community Goals...

Today it was even worse tried to get items from MacVicar City
(60 Tauri) -> 18th of February 6PM.
Tried over 30 min to get back always same issue (Mauve Adder)
Doing legacy Horizons worked instandly.
Tried back in Odyssey (after those 30 mins) worked once again. Tried again to get to Macvicar City (same Issue)
After again 20 Mins Odyssey it worked again... Then I moved to other System now it works as expected...
So what could that be?
Overloaded?
???

Never had such Issues before and I did a LOT of Community Goals.....
 
there was two threads of people who couldn't connected to servers. due to overload or a drive going down @ amazon servers aren't the most reliable. so not frontiers fault.

Same here. I enabled network logging and saw a lot of 20+ second response times.

Regarding who's fault it is, Amazon's issues might be the proximal cause, but Frontier could have built their infrastructure and software to tolerate this kind of issue and hasn't. They could also make their server status indicator on the launcher more precise and accurate, but haven't. Millions of other sites, many much more demanding than Frontier's (Netflix, Reddit, etc), run on AWS without issue. I say this as someone who was a system engineer in payments infrastructure and edge services at Amazon from 2012 to 2018. The blame rests firmly on Frontier's shoulders, and I assert that anyone who has bought Arx in the last three months is justified in holding them responsible.

ED is great, Frontier could be better.

I'm also bitter because I spent hours troubleshooting this on my end yesterday only to find this thread today.
 
Following up to report I'm still having problems. Speed tests and repeating traceroutes to the ED API endpoints show no gross connectivity issues on my end. The ED network logs aren't helpful other than to say that a lot of replies are taking more than 20 seconds, which seems like a lot in 2024. I want the problem to be on my end so I can fix it, but I've tried everything I could find on frontier.co.uk and reddit, and not only do I still have the problem, I haven't learned anything about it.

I hope this isn't a sign of what we have to expect in the upcoming patch.
 
Been going back and forth with support with no sign of progress. Today I got a disconnect less than a minute after connecting. Last night I was able to go over an hour without a disconnect. Is anyone else still experiencing these or is it just me now?
 
Issue is resolved for me. Support said, "I've moved you over a system to try to get around the Mauve adder errors." and after that the issue went away completely AND transitions were faster. If anyone else is still having the Mauve Adder problem I recommend reaching out to support and referencing this thread.
