I have the same thing but mine is grey in colour, good catch as it's difficult to capture is seems to move even if you aren't.

Thats what i think too, i sometimes get it while turning quickly. My suspicion is that its your visor catching the reflection of (unremoveable, i can't get rid of that ugly red one) shoulder decal

I’ve had success adding another decal, exiting the menu and then going back in and removing it.
Using the suits shoulder pads? or the decal directly on the base suit?
I can't remember all the things, but i managed to get it off the shoulder accessories, but never off the base suit. I could switch it, don't remember the conditions but eventually the red one came back again and i just gave up on it.
One of the issues may be that i'm using mav parts on a dom suit, and last i tried was unable to switch it back out after update 4 (i think), Black <snake> (adder IIRC) if i try to edit the suit cosmetics on the dom now.
It worked on my under suit as well as the shoulder pads, although the whole decal system is still buggy tbf.
also no progression logos for exobiology?
