Hi

Colonized a system, built the Initial Outpost.

Built a Refinery Hub on the planet the Outpost orbits.

It is completed, the Planetary Construction Platform disappeared, the Hub appeared, but there are no lights, no contact to request landing in the Contacts menu, I am allied with the station but nothing but buildings and turrets down there I don't even see any landing pads.

How long is the wait, and will the phisical landing pads show up. We prioritied this thinking we could help CMM needs.

Also when targeting it from super cruide it even says it has trade and appropriate landing pads but nothing is there when we get close this is a bug right?

Please let me know if you need more info.

A few hours later nothing.

I am pretty sure the hub is one of those non-landable facilities, like a horizons settlement. So that would not be a bug. This is just my understanding of it though, and why it's on a different category than Odyssey Settlements (Who are just called settlements in the construction menu) and planetary outposts/ports.

I'm afraid if this is the case then the menu misled you by saying it has landing pands when it doesn't.

For what it's worth, I built an Odyssey agricultural settlement. It appeared immediately after finishing my delivery of the last goods. Same with the Coriolis station. I don't see why this one should behave any differently so I don't think your refinery hub will change at all no matter how much you wait.

The space bar and other assorted space installations also tell you they have landing pads but they do not and are not dockable either.

Wait what there is no landing possible?? I can't make a refinary outpost people can buy CMM AT ?!?!?!?! WHAT!!!!! It says trade right on the station? What do I need to build to get a ground based station you can buy commodities at then?

Planetary Ports or Surface Settlements. But none of those have Refinery as a default economy type.

It's possible that the hub you built will affect the goods sold at planetary ports, so it might not be completely useless - but this, like a lot of things, is going to need at least a few more weeks of research.

I feel your pain, I built a bar overlooking a very scenic planet and ice ring, now way to land,. On the plus side it will add to your system...

I built a refinery hub too. My system went from Colony economy to Colony/Refinery. So far its impact just seems to be the text on the system description though. My expectation was that the Coriolis would eventually change from Colony economy to Refinery or a mix of both.

Coriolis still just selling Colony goods (Biowaste and Hydrogen Fuel)
