Refueling Carrier?

Just imagine T9 with all cargo is another 80M "fuel hose" installation you have to invest to get your 5B carrier up to speed. At least it has no up-keep costs :D .

The system ensures that the carrier owner is aboard and that carrier is not jumping thousands of light years in excess of its tritium capacity away from said owner.

Oh that's a hilarious thought..say using a plotting tool to auto jump carrier till tanks empty that's about 6 or so jumps. Ha! And the daft cmdrs still doing exo samples on a moon got carried away cos +5 species took ages!

Fill up the Type 9, from carrier, then donate to Tritium Depot (for now)
I keep one unflyable Type 9 on my carrier specifically for this role (but mostly because I had a spare paint job...).

I echo the sentiment expressed unanimously so far: we need a way to make the transfer from storage to fuel depot without using a ship, and remotely.

Alternatively, I demand the ability to land on my FC and kick the FC staff in their derrières for the whole length of the corridors and into an airlock.

I've mentioned this loads of times - as have many others - that tritium piping needs to be installed so we don't have to transfer via ship.

And don't get me started on FC ATC recognising their own CMDR :D
At least the bug is fixed where you request docking with your carrier, get with 3 km of it, it goes hostile, and your own carrier blows you up. Then, after the rebuy, your on the carrier. Talk about scam... lol.

(The bug was the one involving leaving hostile/tipped off settlements before completing the mission there; all stations would then be hostile to you on approach, including your own carrier!)

Apparently, if you become hostile (due to fighting against) the faction that controls the system, your carrier is going to assess you as hostile and open fire on you. Happened to a team mate a few days ago.

I hope they put in a ticket on that.

For my convenience, I often park my carrier in a star system near the station I want to do missions and not the same system. I prefer to park it in systems with only stars, but other vacant systems are fine as long as I can park right at the star. It's often quicker to jump to a carrier near a star than supercruise to one in the same system... plus you avoid these issues.

That said, this sounds like a bug. If it's a feature, it's a feature that needs to be changed.
