Regular mining hotspots fixed yet?

Yeh thanks, but I wanted to actually do some core mining for a change of pace for some void opals since their prices are good right now. The trouble is that since the egg nerf, the only thing you DON'T get in a VO hotspot, is VOs. The only thing you DON'T get in a LTD hotspot is LTDs etc, etc. Just wondering if anything had changed since I too quit mining in digust.

Been core mining in VO hotspots around Colonia. Haven’t had any trouble finding VO cores.
Come to think of it, I’ve stumbled across a not insignificant number of LTD cores as well. Prices for them in Colonia have been crap, so I haven’t cracked one of them yet.

I'm finding the right minerals in the right hotspots too. Not wall to wall cores maybe and not exclusively all the ones you want, but at the 1.3M/ton I've been getting for them, I've got no complaints looking for cores.

hm...I'll have another look. Thanks guys. Maybe they fixed in onen of their multiple attempts to nerf the egg, and I just happened to try it on a bad day. I wasn't the only one reporting this. Cheers anyway :)

Just got back to my FC.

Straight laser mining in a single LTD hotspot 400 limpets used got me 84 LTD's and 104 Tritium, did not even bother to scan for cores.

Don't know really, I have been checking out mining spots in the black.
Sometimes I find only LTD's in tritium hotspots and vice versa.
I've found a LTD/Trit overlap (centers are maybe 200km apart) and find exclusively Tritium in every freaking rock.

I was in a regular single LTD hotspot the other day and there was a good mix, perhaps with a preponderance of subsurface deposits.

That is a single instance but seemed to be working well.

Can't say the same for other hotspots which seem to be veritable deserts of their chosen material. Or perhaps that's just me.

Also there was Tritium everywhere.

This. While some hotspots may not be totally broken, it seems to me that most are.

Thanks to a tip from a friend, I was doing some Haz Res mining in a tritium hotspot.
Worked out quite well. Got some pew, got 160 tons of tritium.

Edit: whoops fell for it too, it was lasermining...

2 more cores, another LTD and an Alexandrite (from a VO hotspot). This is pure crap.

Guys, I dont know were you're core mining, but I confirmed this after the egg nerf and I confirm it today. There are no VOs in VO hotspots.

I feel confident in saying that are no cores of the appropriate type in any hotspot. The last VO core I saw was just after the egg nerf and it was in a LTD hotspot.

There is definitely something wrong.
