Station: Fozard Port (Ocellus Starport, large pads available, 881 Ls from main star, 171.85 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Bounty Vouchers
Time limit: 14th November 3305 @ 15:00 UTC

Description
A generation ship with a living population has been discovered in the Upaniklis system, but the vessel's outdated facilities are struggling to meet the needs of its crew. The inhabitants have reported a lack of maintenance materials and medical supplies, the latter made more pertinent by a virus sweeping through the ship.​
Upaniklis Vision Incorporated has launched a campaign to provide the Golconda with essential supplies, but there are concerns that agitators operating in Upaniklis could disrupt the initiative. To counter this threat, Upaniklis Vision Incorporated has placed a kill order on all ships on their wanted list, and has promised to reward pilots who deliver bounty vouchers to Fozard Port.​
The initiative is scheduled to run from the 8th to the 14th of November 3305. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Bounty Vouchers at Fozard Port in the Upaniklis system. Only bounty vouchers handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total.​

Please note that if you have any crew members, a portion of your bounty vouchers will be automatically assigned to them. These bounty vouchers will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for their vouchers when they are handed in. The proportion of bounty vouchers assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.​
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Part of the new Interstellar Initiative
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Material Trader (Manufactured)
  • Nearest Interstellar Factors (with "reasonable" super cruise distances, others are available):
    • Clair Plant & Turzillo Horizons in Col 285 Sector JY-H c10-34 (Planetary Bases, requires Horizons, S/M/L pads, 14.14Ly, 995 & 1077 Ls)
    • Wallin Vision in Kwele (Coriolis Starport, S/M/L pads, 17.25 Ly, 15 Ls)
      • System also has outposts and planetary bases if required
    • The outpost Desargues Survey in Chentiiq is closer but owned by Upaniklis Vision Incorporated so probably not useful during this CG

Even in Haz-Res, I only encountered one large ship. The rest were Vipers, Adders etc. Disappointing, hopefully I'll have better RES swarms later on.

doing the defence mission. 3 kraits 2 pythons 2 anacondas ( 1 x236k kill rest were 100k+) lots of other small ships at the installation defence... (only used the multi cannon on the anaconda to remove the power plant to zero) could of got kills faster but those grade 5 mats show up so I had to pull over and scoop them...

KWS don't count to CG, no other faction bounties count to CG this is restricted to the single faction Hosting the CG as they are indis... does not matter if you hand in other factions at the location only the CG host pay to the CG, this is going to make the CG longer as I was getting over another hal f a mill in bounties for the local factions on top... So every 1 million to CG I get another 500k for the locals... would have been nice to be able to use that other 500k but you will get ARXs for them when handed in...

So, what's best for bounty hunting: CZ or RES? Any strategy hints? Thanks!
RES only - CZ gives out Combat Bonds which is an entirely different thing and won't count towards the CG.

As for a strategy, if you are doing it solo then stick with some friendly SA ships and pick on Wanted ships you can handle :) Don't shoot the SA ships and wait for the scan to finish before shooting wanted ships, even if others already are!

Just cleared one CZ and realized they give Combat Bonds. Living and learning. RES it is then.

I had somewhat better result in HazRES at A1 - about 60% small ships, the rest were a mix between medium and large. Got 5M towards the CG.
 
Do you mind me asking, how do you do it?
Combine these things to speed up bounty collection..
Engineer the smeg out of every thing to make "Time to kill" on a ship to be as short as possible. (This is a big big sub topic)
Use synth screen to make new Premium ammo, so you don't return to station to rearm. ( This means boring material collection later to restock. so alot of players avoid this...)
Use the sub system targeting for bigger ships, when power plant reaches zero theres a random chance that the next hit kills the ship no matter its hull remaining
Get your own combat rank higher. The harder you are the harder the pirates rank will be this can increase the ship and bounty pay you get...
Those help when solo...

After trying many different ships and builds, I ended up flying this FdL: https://s.orbis.zone/4-j5. I'm really happy with it.

Never thought about rearming with premium ammo. Never tried targeting subsystems, so that's helpful, too.

Just turned in 1.4 million credits worth of bounties!

Nice Vette (2x C4 overcharged autoloader MCs, 5x LR beams, MC Condor as fighter, prismatic megashields etc), plus a couple of nice folks I've met and winged with (one with Chietain, the other one witn Vette).
Not sure if it matters in this CG, but I've tried to KWS every medium and large ship.
 
I brought my laser Corvette so I didn't have to go to station to rearm. Destroying everything in seconds, even wings of 3 (1 Conda and 2 Krait Phantoms). I have to give 10% to my elite female NPC crew, but I don't mind, she is amazing. I'm also using limpets to collect some grade 5 materials, so I'm taking my time. Will soon be on the 10%, so I'm happy.

Went back last night and in 40 minutes of PEW PEW, there was just one large ship, a Condy. Clearly, the big ship pirates are scared of me.

As for hardware, I've brought my Gunship and Mamba, the former is so flexable with 7 hard points plus I'd get my SLF pilot to Elite soon. As for the Mamba, I had far too much fun in the latter with double-shot frags in CZs, so I'll give her a try in a RES.

I've actually been getting bigger targets using my Chief or Krait. Brought my Laser Cutter and it was all small ships. Medium Combat ships are more fun I think. 7 mil dropped off already.
 
The mega ship still won't spawn any combat missions... booo .

When specific trying to kill the big pay ships Anaconda and Python first, then the left overs, i'm crawling along in cutter at just about 2.9mill per hour today..
( I was in open but nobody showed up on PS4. )
I stop every hour to hand in Bounties to get my Arx correct value... But I lost 5 for going up to just under 3mill when you should stop at 2 mill for bounty hand ins... O well,
CG is Close to tier 3 target which looks like around 5 billion needed...
Now Im of to IF due FF on the installation..lol.. Im swapping to a cobra for sunday aftertoon combat...
