In the DB folder I got a TCE.rar, I don't know if it's normal ?
But if I unzip it, yes I can open the TCE.mdb manually.

I didn't saw the runtimes for access before you said it, but now they're installed !

Did it helped? I added a message box to report, if the download fails, but TCE didn't delete the TCE.mdb in that case, so the issue should be gone.

Yeah just did that and it seems that it's working fine... Thx A LOT !



Edit: The OLE DB just pops up again... (After 3-4 launch of TCE)

Did you used the FTP option again?
Can you give me your TCE.mdb file for a check (eventure(at)ki.tng.de)?
Could also be your Office installation.

Nop I didn't touch the FTP option

The problem is, the TCE.rar on the ftp is empty... And I don't have the TCE.mdb on the DB folder

I'll try to reinstall Office tomorrow and I'll let you know !

Yep it is. But it's kinda weird... I just reupload it on the ftp and it seems to work fine right now...

Btw : Where can we make a donation ?

Full Version (1.54) released:



Changelog:
- Added new Credit Balance Overview panel.
- Added Russian translation to TCE (95% complete). Set to beta status.
- Reworked Classic Main panel with three new buttons (SUMMARY, CASH and NAV).
- Completely reworked Star System Summary panel.
- Reworked Navigation panel, highlighting the waypoint to copy it into the clipboard.
- The Credit Balace Overview, Classic Main, Navigation and Star System Summary panel are optical auto-adjusted, when moving them to the top or bottom of the screen.
- Removed the preselected orientation of the Classic Main panel, it is no longer needed because of auto-adjustments.
- Added slide in/out effect to the Credit Balace Overview, Navigation and Star System Summary panel.
- Added tooltips to the Credit Balace Overview, Navigation and Star System Summary panel.
- Added FTP message box, if something goes wrong and deleting prevention of TCE.mdb.
- Fixed an issue when downloading the database from a FTP server.
- Added better error reporting for finding reference stars to the Star System Database panel.
- Fixed an issue when arriving at a stored location, not showing the location at the Travel Logbook area of the Personal Logbook panel.
- Fixed an issue at the Stored Location area of the Personal Logbook panel not allowing to set a course to an inner system location.
- Fixed an issue at the Route Planner panel, not showing neighboring stations within system to select as the next station for a route.
- Panel Position window adjusted and optimized (on the code part)
- Removed option to display Route Markers, because it is no longer needed.
- Fade in/out of Star System Summary panel, when entering a star system, optimized.
- On fade in of the Star Systen Summary panel, you are now able to stop the fade out by moving the mouse over the panel.
- Updated setup (V1.11): Removed interface orientation selection and added an activity display, when auto-detecting required folders.
- Updated TDM (v1.10): TCE.ini file now auto-adjusted to be compatible with the actual version.
- Updated TCE Manual (V1.1)

Note:
Please use the Transfer Database Manager (TDM) for TCE V1.53.2 and older versions to make your database compatible with the actual version of TCE.

The are no adjustsments done to the Compact Main panel. To get access to the Cash Balance Overview or the Navigation panel, if they are invisible, open the Panel Position window and click on SHOW to open the panel.

Hi Eventure

Many thanks for this big update. It is really looking very good.

Just a small point. When starting TCE v1.54 I now get an Excel Toolbox window appear during TCE startup which did not happen before. Although it disappears when TCE startup has completed, is there an Excel (2010) setting where I can turn it off?

That shouldn't happen, will check later, why it happen. There is no option at Excel, only at the VBA editor, when showing an userform.

@Found small issues with the new Star System Summary panel. Will release an update later today, which fixes also the displaying toolbox.

Update (1.54.1) released:



Changelog:
- Removed the sometimes visible toolbox.
- Fix an issue, when showing the Credit Balance Overview, Navigation and Summary panel through the Panel Control window.
- Fixed an error on selecting an unregistered station from the Summary panel as a destination.
- Fixed an issue on scrolling the space stations at the Summary panel.
- Fixed an issue on moving the Navigation panel with lower resolutions.

Note:
This update didn't need any TDM usage for your database. Copy the content into your TCE folder to update your version.

Hi, Tried installing to as many different folder locations with frontier developments or Elite Dangerous or ED in the directory tree, even the hidden files appdata etc, and only got the error;
"cannot send command to program"
it opens a blank excel sheet, unlabelled, a command window and the error box.
I have excel 2013 pro and even tried messing with that but to no avail. I hope in a future release to use this as i am primarily a trader in ED.
Unless you can help in some way. Have currently removed TCE from my system.
PS. I did not get any error with openoffice only a blank workbook with the tabs labelled, Tabelle 1, Tabelle 2, Tabelle 3.
I admire the dedication and effort people like you put into these helpful tools.

Hi Eventure

Unfortunately, TCE v1.54.1 does not fix the Toolbox display issue - Excel 2010. Now the Toolbox appears again while loading TCE but does NOT disappear when TCE is fully loaded as it did with v1.54 :(

The Toolbox ends up behind the TCE Classic Toolbar and cannot be closed without hitting "5" to remove the TCE Toolbar. And yes, when loading TCE the display box does show v1.54.1 is loading.
