What is your selected Trade Range at the Trade panel?

i set it to 100 / 30.
but even on 200 / 200, the dest. panel does not change.

edit: is it possible the dest. panel does not take the variable into account, but a fixed value (the def. 50 perhaps) instead?
another thing: you mentioned the dest. panel would change when deselecting small / med pads in the trade scout, is this already in?
at work atm, so can't check.

edit: wait. you said trade range at trade panel. i was referring to trade scout. are we talking different things here? could you post a screen with the value to check pls?

You missunderstood me. The Trade Range, changable at the Trade panel (not the Trade Scout panel), is the value, that basically defines the stations, that are displayed at the Destination panel (so, if you set it to 30 LYs, only stations within this distance are displayed).

At the Trade Scout panel, you select the scan range and the distance between the station, that are used in calculations for the routes.

Yes, I was using the 1.37e release and had registered Virtanen Hub prior to docking with it. now going to give the 1.37f a try

Use the "g" version, because there was a bug when reaching your selected destination.

i tried to make it work but when i click on it
it open a file tce.xlsm telling me
compile error
impossible to find project or library
il stops in 41 line
NetLog_Path = Mid(ArINI(1), 12, X - 11)

Please check, if your office is up-to-date and install the lastest service pack for it.
 
Minor Suggestion

It would be great if you could add an outfitting section to this...(unless it exists and I didn't notice). I find it difficult to find the systems with the high end outfitting for class 3+. Such an add-on would be a life saver.

Sorry to be a pest but how do I get the program to run on a second monitor, I have checked the instructions but cannot see how to do that.

It's an overlay on the game, however if you want the window's to show in different places you can set there positions in Options/Panels just keep changing the values until it's displayed where you want the window's to pop up at.

The main menu bar I don't think can be moved.
 
Real Life Issues!

MY Hard Drive has blown up so I'm not going to be able to play Elite or test TCE for the next few days. :(

There would be no difference in adding it, because all you have to find it yourself. This tool have no crowdsourced data. If you find a place, add a note to the Star System through the cartography panel for now, but i will expand it step by step, so Outfitting will come, but has no high priority.

I second that motion, as I suggested in post #1239 :

Could you please add the ability to search for the closest station with a Blackmarket
The easiest way might be to just add it to the "FIND COMMODITY" list in the Trade panel, but that's all up to you.
And while you're at it, it would not hurt to be able to do the same for Repair, Refuel, Rearm, Shipyard and Outfitting !
If you add all of them, you might want to rename the "FIND COMMODITY" box to simply "SEARCH FOR :" or something similar.

It would help after we have visited it thought but I agree it is not first priority.
It will become more useful with time as our databases grow :)

Yes, i didnt miss your post and i think, this should be no pproblem to add, but as you see, i had other issues, that had to be solved first. I will add this to the V1.38 beta release.

The limit will be, when calculation times become almost unbearable.

The import function add missing values by now, but i agree, that the health of the database is the heart of TCE.

And the padsize filter was in, but had to removed, because it produces errors. I will come back with the new Logbook panel, where you can select your ship, you are using.

It's EliteOCR that's causing my issue with commodities - no idea why - every so often it just goes mad for a while and just produces a black bmp

Hi - sorry - was in game

My commodity panel is usually on my left hand monitor (secondary display - side). My debug window appears over Elite (primary monitor - central)

Could that be the reason, if i correctly understood, that you have no problems, when debug is visible, because its on your primary monitor? Move the Commodity panel to you primary monitor for a test run. Perhaps i only have to activate the main panel (i think its on your primary monitor), before the screen capture carried out?

little sidenote: even with the option unticked, i get occasional popups for adding star system data when jumping.
no biggie, though.
