If someone has problems, that TCE cant find your station anymore, please check the AppConfig.xml file. If there are many entries with VerboseLogging="1", please delete them, except one. Finally the Network entry should look like this:

this is an awsome piece of software, indeed! Not having used it till now, so I have a question, I hope it wasn't asked before:
Is it possible to use it with the german language option ingame? I want to use it only locally, so it is not necessary to provide english localized prices into the web.

Damn, the forums say I can't rep you.
Also, I noticed in requirements section that 2007 office is needed. I've been using 2010. version since the start with no gamebreaking issues so I'd say that version works as well.
If you enter the prices manually, yes. The order of names and the names itself for the commodities is not the same in english so you can't use OCR.

I thought, that it could be possible, cuz the OP seems to be a german guy. So he had could done it with localization in mind. I would like to use EliteOCR, maybe with the "translate to english"-option, as it provides this feature since the last few versions. But the game I would like to use in german... but better with a totally localized TCE. Maybe this comes along in further versions...
After supporting now EliteOCR, I will give it a try as soon as I come home and install Office 2007 and TCE and fiddle around a bit. Maybe I can look a bit into the sourcecode, but I never programmed in VBA, (just another couple of languages) so...

I'm currently running Office 2010 64 bit with version 14.0.7140.5002 on a Windows 7 Ultimate.
Running Microsoft update tells me that all updates are installed.

I had to enable all macros, but other then that no additional adjustments. Running on Windows 7, 64bit, SP1.

Taking snapshots of stations I personally visited was something I would have liked to see in game, but ended up just cataloging my own screenshots.
Anyway, I have both Excel 2007 and the latest (v15) and whilst it works in both (for me) the "start OCR" option returns Error 76, Path not found in both versions.
I have tried TCE in both the ...\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1002 folder and a new folder on C:\
I Copied EliteOCR (v.05) into the folders so I have ..\TCE\EliteOCR\EliteOCR.exe and ...\TCE\EliteOCR\bin\ etc etc
I have also run eliteOCR and set the paths for the images / exports etc to no avail.
What path is it looking for?

Having trouble getting EliteOCR to work in conjunction with TEC.
Running TEC V1.27 standard in the following Dir: C:\Elite Dangerous\TCE
I've copied the EliteOCR V0.5.1 files to this Dir: C:\Elite Dangerous\TCE\EliteOCR
TCE does not seem to detect EliteOCR to message on start-up and no button to scan from the commodities window.

I still get this exact error as well (on the same set up as you) - shame as this looks brilliant.
Hmm, I'm fairly new to the game and just saw this post. Is there a FAQ somewhere or??
I just have the basic questions like:
What do I need to run this, Excel? I have a greta PC btw so I have no spec questions.
Can I use this in multiplayer or only solo(will Frontier be ok with me running this?)
I have changed my UI colors and every patch seems to put colors back to default, will this program be affected by patches?
I know a small bit about computers(good in some areas not so good in other areas) but not a lot, so I apologize for what may seem to be simple questions to ya but some things are a little tough to understand.
