Reliving your space hobo days Challenge!!

I just thought of something to rekindle my old love for this game, I will store all my fleet and engineered modules and do the following challenge:

Here are the rules:

1- Buy a Sidewinder (NO ENGINEERING as a start)
2- What ever money you have right now, Freeze it, so for example if you have 200 Million Credits that is ur new Zero!
3- start playing like you just bought Elite Dangerous, small missions, NEW system that you have no reputation with.
4- Relive your early years without touching your stack of cash or the need to delete ur save
5- Enjoy


Anyone out there wana give it a try ?

Why not remove the temptation of all the credits and reset your save?

I do it all the time. It gives the game a whole different aspect.

Well that may feel like all the work u did so far was deleted. You can have the best of both worlds, keep all ur assets and restart your gameplay. I started this morning and im having the same fun i had when i first got Elite couple of years ago.

I still play the game like the first day, on a small (to medium) ship, counting every credit and not running, so.. I'm not sure how your point affects me

I do this from time to time just for fun, though I'll usually start in a Hauler or Adder instead. I'll buy A rated Fuel Scoops until my credits are as close to zero as I can make them and then I'll head out to experience small ship and menial mission gaming fun. It's actually quite a blast to simply focus on playing the game in a very humble ship now and then.

Well if u still do that then by all means go ahead, i think i got a bit jaded with all the type 10, cutter and corvette.. Im really enjoying the little sidewinder. Its like being in love with ur high school gf all over agin

Starting this morning, i can totally relate.. I think this game have a completely different side flying one small ship. Its just a beautiful experience
