Remember that in-game poster competition?

Just asking for a formal date where the included posters are announced.

I'm old enough to remember Blue Peter the much loved BBC children's program, when they announced any competition the entrants were given the privilidge of an definite announcement date.

Any chance there FD, a lot of your CMDRs put a lot of time and effort in, you could reward them right now with a definite date they will be informed about the result of there time and effort afforded to you.

Communications and all that, you know?

I would rather that q4 work was prioritised over the poster comp, I put in 12 ideas as well, I think they got a lot more than they expected!!

It's about respecting the efforts of the contributors. Either way Q4 will be as slight as it was always going to be. ;)

It took them a full year before the paintjob competition winner was announced. The screenshot competition (remember that?) seems to have disappeared into oblivion. Expect similar results.

This one?

Now I used to watch Magpie, Susan Stranks, Jenny Henley, Tony Bastable, Mick Robertson, etc. Much less scripted show than Blue Peter!

Kind of baffling that this might be an issue.

How long can it take to look through all the entries, bin all the garbage and inappropriate stuff, compile a list of, say, the top 100 and then print 'em out on a couple of A4 sheets, pin 'em to the office notice-board and let everybody in the office vote for a winner.

Alternatively, if FDev want to send me a memory stick with all the entrants on it, I'll have a winner for you by the end of the week. ;)
