Remember to optimize your zoo entrance for the future!

Still new to franchise and still loving it so much! :D But one thing I learned today is that you really need to plan for the future when building your zoo, something I clearly didn't do!
Make sure that your entrance area is big enough! I made the misstake to have only one path in to my zoo (even thou it's a 10 meter one) and once the zoo turns big (approaching 10k visitors) it get's crouded!
A good lesson for future zoo's :p

Ooooof.. That looks crowded! I would recommend moving back the buildings you have on the sides (I see some room), then making a path on a grid to make it more open. Or turn the entrance into an open plaza with the same system. Sorry if I am late to the post!

The Main Path in my Zoo is 40 m wide. It works perfect even after a long Time. I think it would even work with a 30 m or 20 m Path

Nice pic!

I like to divide the entrance crowd into two main paths as soon as possible. Guests can head east or west to halve the traffic on each route. Both should to eventually lead to habitats with high-status animals so there's equal attraction in both directions.

Hope you can recover your zoo soon!

Very valuable indeed! I did the mistake in my first zoo - having a narrow entrance area and a food court too close to it. Broke my neck 100 (in-game) years later. People got stuck right after entering the zoo and left very unhappy, causing insane refund expenses. I could only keep them relatively happy by limiting the guest number, and then I wouldn't make enough money to expand the zoo any further.
