Remote workshop - no set plans (or something like that)

Practicing my Spanish so it says (translated) "no plans set" and is red.

In usual Elite Dangerous style there's no tooltip telling me what that means or how to fix it. Is there a trick to using the remote workshop? Why is it red and inaccessible?

You need to pin the blueprints at the engineer base before you can use them at remote engineering, so if it says "no plans set" then you haven't been to an engineer to pin any blueprints.

What. So you have to fly all the way out there to set the plans? There's no way around that?

No. I clearly explained that you have to fly to the engineer to set the blueprint, if there was a way around it I would have told you that you didn't have to fly to the engineer to set the blueprint, but that's not the case, so I exlained that you have to fly to the engineer to set the blueprint.

There are two engineers in Colonia, that offer exclusive upgrades that cannot be found in the bubble. Would be super fun to fly there and pin them, then return home and find out that's not the upgrades you wanted. :ROFLMAO:

Almost did that... luckily I double checked before I left Colonia and spotted my error.

Last time I was in Colonia (which was months ago), I wasn't even aware of these upgrades. Now I plan to make a trip to pin them, but I really dread even the thought going through that again, even in my AspX jumper... Another fear, is that if FD decides to do some balancing, and these meta upgrades become irrelevant. Unlikely, but still scary...

You could try to hitch a ride on one of the Fleet Carriers going to Colonia. I would suggest you do it in your AspX Jumper, so that you do not get stranded somewhere if the Carrier owner decides to change their plan...

Thought about it, but with recent economical Tritium crisis, I don't think it would be easy to find ride like that...

Use spansh.co.uk and plot a route with your Asps jumprange. The current record with a 80ly jumpaconda is at 1 hour 18 minutes.

or this...
Hm only a G4.
Still better then everything in the bubble and for PvP those g4 banks are fantastic.

Someone tell me a tell for shielded Fuel Scoops and Refineries though...lol
Actually I always put a grade 1 shielded updgrade on fuel scoops, afmus and refineries 😅

Part time OCD and part time it nearly doubles the integrity for a single mat, which means it won't die so fast due to overheating etc.

No idea, but enough people around here want them that they reached G5 before several blueprints with more obvious uses.
Propably also part time OCD and part time the hope we get an engineers upgrade with better fuel scoop enginering or
more bins (which will prolly never come)
