Remove ALL TRACK RESTRICTIONS.

At least make it an option! Opening up the restrictions could cause bugs but it would fix those auto correct and smoothing errors!

Right now the option is too restricted [down]

not sure what you're talking about, cause since 1.4 update there is an option in game settings to disable track restrictions for coasters.

sadly it's not working properly cause with wooden & hybrid coasters there is only the banking affected but not the up/down lifting of the track. this part is still restricted - in contrary to kiddie coasters like the Dragon which now can be 250 meters high, contain negative drops and loopings as much as you want.

i love it very much when decisions are consequent. [rolleyes]

Yes, it's restricted to what the editor can handle (max 90* angle on anything, min 4 mtr track length and max 24 (not sure)) when you disable track limits.

I still hope for a continuous roll. Then I'm fine with the restrictions. They are not the reason we have unsmooth coasters.

sadly not the case for wooden & hybrid coasters. try to bend the track 90 degrees up or down. doesn't work. doesn't even work over multiple track parts, not just within one track part.

Didn't notice it, you are probably right, I like to build with shorter segments that reach that 90* angle. But yeah the editor has its flaws.

I reckon I could build better rolls and loops if there was an option to bank further than 90*. And giving them your own angles would help as well instead of the pre-programmed 11,25 / 15 / 22,5 / 30 / 45 / 90.

Yes! The loosening of the track restrictions was a great step in the right direction, however the game still prevents the placement of track pieces, especially when building vertical, even when the track pieces don't have any weird shape to them.

In case of the classic wooden types, it could be limited by the abilitys of the support generator. When they showed the hybrid ones for the first time, they talked about getting the supports right and i think the hybrids got another support generator than the classic woodys. Maybe the classic generator will clip the support structure through the track at steeper angled parts?
