Hello everyone, CMDR o7
With the release of the Trailblazers update, are left confused and there is no building manual.
For example:
It's unclear how to know what to build to produce the goods you need, as there’s no list of products produced by the stations.
It's unclear which ships will be sold on the shipyard and which modules will be available depending on the station’s economic type.
It's unclear how to change the colonial economy of space and ground stations.
It's unclear how the population changes after constructing a particular station. And so on. In short, there is no detailed manual with numbers for all the parameters.
Now, imagine a situation where you have colonized a system with 10 points for space stations and 10 for ground stations. You build different types of stations, installations, and ports to understand how everything works. In the end, you’ve built almost the entire system and then come to a standstill.
I’d like to remind you that building even a small station takes a significant amount of time, and then you have to move on to a new system with new knowledge to experiment further—nonsense. People simply won’t engage in such content because they’ll have to go through a large number of constructions without understanding what will eventually happen with their system.
But if there were a plan for what to build and why to build it, then everything would be clear and transparent. Therefore, I really hope that the developers will see this post and introduce the option to demolish constructions; otherwise, while trying to understand all the hidden mechanics and nuances, a huge number of resource systems and players’ nerves will be wasted.
Spread this message among CMDRs so that the developers respond and simplify further colonization for us. As for what to do with the resources that were spent on construction, that remains an open question.
