Ummm...

Err...

Ok I'll watch an episode before commenting. Show seems to be a positive in many people's lives, and that's got to be a good thing.

I know of no other fandom that feels the need to forcibly inject itself into anything and everything than MLP and "Bronies".

A quick google test: Name any major TV show, sci-fi, fantasy, video game followed by word "pony" You will "Ponified" versions of that fandom. (Side note: search on a empty stomach or keep that safe search on.....) Star wars ponies, star trek ponies, lord of the ring ponies, game of thrones ponies, the walking dead ponies, skyrim ponies, fallout ponies, borderlands ponies.... pretty much a new rule for the internet:... if it exists, there are pony versions of it.

Name me one, any other fandom that chooses to infest or bleed into other fandoms anywhere remotely near the level MLP does.
Then you go to those fan/video game forums, get your MLP avatar and signature and post about MLP. Case in point the OP and posted originally under general "Elite Dangerous Discussions" now moved to "off-topic".
Can anyone explain why? What is the compulsory need to go everywhere on the internet and post about it in one way or another? Posts followed by the obligatory confusion or negativity responses:

"Why do you watch a children's show for little girls" followed by "IT'S NOT a children's show!" and "The writing is really deep!" and "have you ever watch the show!?" etc. etc.

I personally "had" nothing against the show or the odd adult fan-base, I was quite content to ignore and not involve myself in it what so ever. However after years of constantly being smacked in the face MLP in every forum, video game and corner of the internet (Basically my recreation time). I have only developed what can only be described as a deep hatred for it and anything related to it.

To the uninformed and the confused: Just don't leave your children and especially your pets alone with these people.

Rick and Morty and dr. Who fanbase is much more annoying in their "forcible insertion", plus they think they're better than the rest.

Let it out. Don't hold back. It's cathartic.

Someone needs to calm down and stroke a nice pony (not a euphemism!!)....

I used to be a MLP skeptic. Until I took a Pony to the knee.

I think a more likely explanation as to why you are seeing MLP things 'injected' into various non-MLP forums is that those forums/communities already had MLP fans to begin with. It's not that we're being 'invaded'....

"The call is coming form *inside* the house!" so to speak. ;)

It's sad that you feel like you are being forced into reading about MLP online. I can't agree with you, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This thread was moved to Off topic because it's off-topic. No one is forcing you to click into it.

As for the the bit about leaving your children and pets alone with bronies, well.... I'm not even going to reply to that. IMHO it shows that you are really not interested in different viewpoints or opinions.

Bad advice. Ponies are moody and they bite. :D

Ponies are nice to me. Seriously, MLP aside, I actually have a genuine love for horses IRL.

They're like putty in my hands, or whatever the saying is.

Stallions man. The most temperamental on the planet... But i manage them pretty damn well.

Unfortunately, living in an urban environment means I have little chance at exercising my proudest skills.

"I just don't know what went wrong!"

Dash is a little upset at her co-pilot who, although well-meaning, frequently messes things up.

Goddammit, I should have saved my rep for this one. :D
Derpy looks like being of much use as a crew. As per usual. looks like she just fired the SCB without a heatsink. :)

Adorable. Also, what ship is that? I don't recall seeing one with a bridge like that.

That's a Vulture. :)
